A land of rivers
Within 10 km from the town of Redon, they are ten waterways coming together to join the waters of the Vilaine for a last journey heading towards the ocean.
Not one resembles another .
Some are natural, others canalised. One accommodates the boatman-come-fisherman, the other, the patient fisherman on the riverbank.

It has to be said that Rieux has many assets : A long straight stretch of water, well equipped riverbanks, beautiful landscapes... and an abundance of white fish.
