How to get there?
 
 
The "Pays de Redon" is located on the borders of 3 counties; Ille et Vilaine, Morbihan and Loire Atlantique and in the centre of the Rennes, Vannes, Nantes triangle.

The north of its territory is bordered by the Brocéliande forest and the south by the Brière regional natural park. To the east one finds the "Pays des Portes de Bretagne" and to the west the "Pays de Vannes" with the "Presqu'île de Rhuys" along with the Morbihan gulf.

 

 

By car
From Rennes :
Take the Rennes-Lorient dual carriage-way (N 24 - exit at Maure or Guer) or take the Rennes-Redon road (D 177)

From Vannes :
Take the Vannes-Redon road (D 775)

From Nantes :
Take the Nantes-Rennes dual carriage-way (N 137 - exit at Blain)
Take the Nantes-Vannes dual carriage-way
(N 165 - exit at Pontchâteau)

By boat
From the Vilaine estuary (Arzal to Redon = 42 km)
Dismasting is not necessary (1 lock at the Arzal dam)

From St Malo via Rennes by the "Ille et Rance" canal and the river Vilaine (the Rance dam to Redon = 196 km, 63 locks)
