30 years of craftsmanship
It's now 30 years since the first craftsmen settled in the flowered cobbled streets of La Gacilly. They work with wood, clay, glass, leather, metal. and total around 30, animating the arts and crafts village of La Gacilly all year round.

The Yves Rocher circuit
La Gacilly is also known for being the birthplace of a famous cosmetics brand name. Yves Rocher, child of the area and founder of the company which bears his name, is also mayor of the village. The company offers various discovery tours : The production site, the botanical gardens or "Le Végétarium" the first museum in Europe entirely devoted to plant life.

The village of La Gacilly
"Village in bloom" - three flowers
Lovers of flowers will adore the village of La Gacilly with its little river port, its weir, its tiny flowered lanes and cobbled streets. Three flowers have been attributed by the "Comité National de Fleurissement des Villes et Villages de France".
