The Chère valley
In the Chère valley, one has a rendezvous with both history and nature : History with the Ballac Abbey; its schist stone, sandstone and granite will reveal to you the secrets of the Redon monks who built the abbey in the 12 th century. And nature with the green path through the valley where the little Chère river winds its way before flowing into the Vilaine.

The Don valley
The river Don, flowing west from the "Loire Atlantique" county, has worked its way through schist and shale, creating a steep and wild valley. After passing through the village of Guémené Penfao, it widens its banks before flowing into the river Vilaine and forming vast marshlands below the rock face known as the "Rocher du Veau" site.
