Café de Pays
In 2007, the tourist office of the "Pays de Redon" decided to put in place the "Café de Pays" national seal of approval, which is present in several French regions: Aquitaine, Languedoc-Roussillon, Lower and Upper Normandy, Brittany.
24 cafés are categorized to date in Brittany.
The concept of this operation is to make the café owner an ambassador of his country, making its café a place to promote local products and cultural happenings and to give tourist information.
Criteria
* To inform the customers about the tourist offer of the territory and to make available some tourist brochures.
* To sell 5 regional drinks with 2 alcohol-free drinks.
* To propose, when the customers asks for it, 2 snacks made with local products.
* To organize minimum 4 cultural happenings per year (with 2 apart from high season, from 10th July to 31st August).

Crêperies Gourmandes label |

 The label "Crêperies Gourmandes" was developed to federate the labelised creperies of Britanny in a quality approach and to promote the regional products.
When you choose a Crêperie Gourmande, in one of the 73 Crêperies Gourmandes in Britanny, you get the guarantee:
- to be welcomed by a crêpe and galette specialist;
- to savour some crêpes and buckwheat galettes made on the premises;
- to be in a crêperie which is open minimum during 8 months in the year (with 25 weekends);
- that the crepe maker will give you information about the local and regional products (compulsory training to get the label).

 Restaurants du Terroir
The 70 restaurant owners who have the label in Britanny adhere to a quality charter. Independant gastronomic critics regularly visit the establishments already bearing or running for the label.
The restaurant owners promise to serve a menu cooked from local products and can inform you about the origin of their products. Each restaurant owner knows how to emphasize the richness of his land. He contributes also to the welcoming quality by informing the clients about the beauty spots and the activities around.
